Honda has stated that the recent death of a driver in the US city of Holiday, Florida could be linked to another faulty Takata airbag.

If found to be the case, this would make the most recent tragedy the nineteenth death in what is the largest automotive safety campaign in history.

Prior to this recent incident, the latest confirmed death came from Sydney, where a driver was fatally wounded after his vehicle's faulty airbag cause shrapnel to become lodged in his neck.

A further 180 injuries have also been tied to, the now bankrupt, Takata.

A reminder again, the ACCC is urging anyone with a vehicle listed on the recall list to get in touch with their relevant dealer network immediately.
