Australian tech start-up DingGo is expanding how independent collision repairers connect to customers, especially for private work.

DingGo provides a quick and seamless online quoting experience. With average insurance excesses on the rise, there is a growing volume of private repair work. DingGo finds that private customers don’t know where to go or who to trust for their repairs. The team has a network of vetted independents they will refer the customer to.

“We’re working with a network of about 50 Sydney metro area repairers at the moment, and they’ll tell us they will come in on a Monday morning and be able to get through 10 quotes in 15 minutes,” says co-founder and CEO, Shaun Janks.

“We worked with repairers to create a custom quote management system that gives you the details you need from the customer and makes it quick and easy to deliver a quote by reviewing clear photos of damage, setting your own price, then selecting from options for extra services, start date, time to completion and warranties.”

For car owners with any range of repair needs, DingGo is a no-brainer. “In this digital day and age we should be able to just photograph the damage and upload it to a website so they can send us back options for repair prices from high quality, trusted collision repairers in the local area. That’s exactly what DingGo does."

The site also gives panel beaters an inexpensive way to increase their online presence, with business profile pages on the website, customer star ratings and reviews.

“We know people are increasingly using search to find collision repairers, but they’ll be hesitant to lock them in because they’re not sure who they can trust. As a third-party platform, DingGo helps validate and verify independent businesses. And with customers happy to leave reviews after a job well-done, visitors know they can trust any of the repairers we have listed on our site,” says co-founder, Josh Sandford.

What’s the difference in using DingGo over other digital marketing solutions? “We’ll deliver qualified leads, which means you have a one in three chance of winning by simply quoting on the piece of business we’ve sent your way. Instead of paying for every lead, as you would if you were working with an ad agency or Google, you only pay for the business you win,” adds Sandford.
