Concept Paints, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.  Concept Paints is a family-owned Australian business, specialising in the development and manufacture of innovative high quality automotive refinish and industrial coatings solutions . 

From its inception in 1994, Concept Paints has grown to become Australia’s seventh largest paint manufacturer, says the company.  Today it exports it locally developed and manufactured automotive refinish and industrial coatings products to major markets including the United States of America.  

Concept Paints attributes the success of its growth to its technology and innovative research and development driven by a dedicated team of specialists and a strong distribution network. 

The development of its NO MIX Basecoat System, the world’s first no agitation solvent basecoat tinting system has opened export markets around the world.  Its Low VOC solvent technology, applied to its unique NO MIX Basecoat System offers an environmentally responsible solution for the collision repair industry.  It continues to develop new coating technologies and new products, partnering with major coating companies across the globe.

Today Concept Paints is a major participant in the coatings and collision repair industries. It actively contributes to the development and progress of these industries via its membership of the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre, the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association, the Australian Paint Manufacturers’ Federation, the Australian Shipbuilding & Repair Group, the Australian Association of Progressive Repairers, I-CAR Australia Industry Training Alliance and the IAME (Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers).  

Concept Paints will continue to focus on creating innovative coatings solutions for the automotive refinish and industrial markets, supported by its dedicated employees and its partners.
