The Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance (AUSMASA) is collecting data on the development of training products for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and needs your help.
The Alliance is running a survey for those impacted by ADAS and in particular those who would be able to give relevant input onto the development of training products for the technology.
This survey is designed to gather feedback from key stakeholders on the skills and knowledge requirements of those who encounter Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) components in vehicles. Your feedback will guide the development of training products for the Alliance’s AUR Training Package.
The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is divided into two parts. The Alliance has declared that all personal details will remain private and confidential.
During the consultation period the Alliance will consult with:
- Employers and their representatives/peak bodies
- Employees and their representatives/unions
- The Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments (including licensing and regulatory bodies)
- Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)
- Educational experts
- Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
According to the Alliance’s website, “consultation will focus on the skills required for calibrating ADAS in vehicles following servicing, replacement, or repair work. It will also review and update existing training products and develop new training products to support these skills”.
The survey closes Friday June, 20 2025 and can be located by clicking here
