Do you think your shop is at a leader in repairer know-how? Or are you a top country repairer - doing all the right things despite the many difficulties you face with issues like parts delivery and recruitment?

Nominations for the 2017 Paint and Panel Awards are open. Don't be shy, step into the spotlight, it sounds like you deserve it.

Most innovative bodyshop

We're looking for someone who really thinks out of the box. It might be the way that staff are incentivised, processes used, marketing programmes for example.  The judges are ready to be impressed by innovative initiatives and are open to any kind that's relevant to the business.

The innovation award is sponsored by Norton St Gobain.   norton logo

Best country bodyshop

With judges travelling across country to visit smash repair shops all over Australia, it's near impossible to travel to regional areas to scope out talent – that's why we ask all country repairer nominees to submit a video up to 10 minutes long that showcases your shop and key staff members.

The video should present the operations of your repair shop, including customer reception area, offices, estimating area, parts storage and workshop – as well as demonstrating workflow where possible.

You are a regional repairer if your shop is not located within 80km of:

  •        Sydney
  •        Melbourne
  •        Brisbane
  •        Perth
  •        Adelaide
  •        Gold Coast-Tweed
  •        Newcastle-Maitland
  •        Canberra-Queanbeyan
  •        Wollongong
  •        Hobart
  •        Geelong
  •        Townsville-Thuringowa
  •        Cairns
  •        Darwin
  •        Toowoomba

Here's the video submitted by last year's winners McCarthy Panel works.

Winners will be flown to Sydney for our glamorous award presentation will also be featured in the November issue of Paint & Panel.

Don't forget there are still plenty of awards out there that need nominations, so get to it.
