The Australian Collision Industry Alliance (ACIA) held its Annual General Meeting 2026 on April 28, where the organisation officially welcomed two new Board members.
Members formally accepted Paul McMartin of the SAPE GROUP and Anne McClure of McClure Refinishing.
The organisation said both new Board members bring strong industry experience, leadership and a shared commitment to supporting the future of the collision repair sector.
The ACIA thanked all members who participated in the voting process and those who continue to support ACIA’s work in strengthening the industry.
Meanwhile, the ACIA will be addressing the industry skills shortage at the upcoming Collision Repair Expo 2026 by connecting students, educators and parents with real career opportunities in collision repair.
Through a structured program at the Expo, which will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from May 14-16, students will experience the industry firsthand from tools and technology to pathways in panel and paint.
The seminar will be held on Thursday May 14 between 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Stand AA13.
Students will also be able to explore the expo floor in their own time.
The ACIA is also taking part in the Automotive Precinct at the Careers & Employment Expo in Adelaide, alongside key industry members, promoting the collision repair industry and the career opportunities it offers.
With the support of its Gold Industry Partner, Axalta, the organisation will be showcasing the industry to students, educators and the wider community, highlighting real pathways and the future of the trade.
If you’re a member in Adelaide or simply want to see what ACIA is all about your invited to drop into the showgrounds and take a look at this great initiative from May 7-8.
