New tools from 3M

WITH ITS RANDOM Orbital Sander range 3M has engineered an improved line of air-powered finishing tools designed to work in tandem with 3M abrasives and accessories.

The built-in features and performance levels include:

- A variety of new dust management systems.
- Improved handling and comfort.
- Precision balanced, and designed for smooth operation.
- Colour-coded lever for easy orbit identification.

The 3M Self-Generating Vacuum tool is supplied with 3M Filtrete technology in its vacuum bag assembly.

3M Filtrete technology bags allow all the dust to be completely collected without any leakage, a common problem with cloth bags over time.

3M also recently introduced eight additional tools to complement the existing range. 3M says the company is continually looking to add value and improve its machine tool range to best suit customers needs.
