Focus on Thatcham

Collision repair specialists lucky to be travelling in the UK in June will have the opportunity to visit the research centre at Thatcham.

Vehicle security specialists, motor insurers and crash repairers will be amongst the many interested visitors to Thatcham when the research centre opens its doors as host of the much anticipated Triple Focus event on 16 and 17 June.

With Thatcham’s research workshop as the main backdrop, Triple Focus provides exhibitors with a realistic workshop environment and facilities in which to demonstrate the full capabilities of their products, whilst visitors benefit from an action packed program on each of the two days to complement the central security/insurer/repairer theme.

A Powerful Seminar Program is being delivered by industry experts and a series of live demonstrations will see the latest products put through their paces.

One of the highlights will be the Thatcham/Bodyshop ‘Craft Awards’ entrants, young and experienced, competing for the title of best paint technician and best panel technician.

The Thatcham Village will provide an insight into the latest developments and issues in the areas of repair research, safety and security.

The Apprentice Graduation will see the next generation of vehicle repairers passing out of Thatcham’s Automotive Academy after successfully completing their apprenticeships.

During Triple Focus, Thatcham will also launch their new Thatcham Recognised Locksmith scheme with a specially arranged briefing. Meanwhile the Kitemark Clinic will look to address any issues or concerns for repairers around the Kitemark scheme.

An excellent opportunity for discussion, networking and fact finding, Triple Focus is a must for all who are interested in vehicle security, motor insurance and crash repair, and with more activities still to be announced, the focus will be very much on Thatcham this summer.
