Australia bags a silver medal for car painting at WorldSkills

Congratulations to Kye Szeniak who scooped a silver medal in car painting at WorldSkills 2011, which took place in London. In part of the competition, he painted a union jack on a car bonnet.


Kye followed in his father's footsteps as a spray painter and was encouraged to develop his skills from a young age.
At work, Szeniak enjoys the fact that he is able to be creative with what he does and says that nothing beats the look on people's faces when they get their cars back after he has worked so hard to restore them.

Australia's Craig Agnew received a Medallion for Excellence for Autobody Repair.
