Fire up those coffee machines people - the Paint & Panel Bodyshop Awards judges Sam Street and Neil Powell set off on the great shop walkabout for 2016 on Monday.
Day one is Sydney, days two and three Melbourne, day four is Sydney again. The following week we'll be in Queensland.
In a change to the original timetable we'll be heading to Perth on 27 June and to Adelaide on 29 June.
Apart from WA shops, all those selected for judging should have heard when we're visiting your business - so get those brooms out and shine up those paint mixing benches. Having said that it's not a glamour competition, we'll be looking at all aspects of the business from health and safety to staff welfare.
Every year we hope we can get around the judging without seeing someone spraying in a booth with no PPE gear - it's becoming less and less common but know this is an instant fail. However well you repair cars you can't repair damaged lungs.
We're looking forward to taking the pulse of the industry, meeting new people and seeing the amazing ingenuity and hard work you put into your businesses.
State winners will be flown to our first ever night time awards event at Sydney's famous Establishment ball room in George Street in the CBD on October 21.
Around 150 repairers and industry glitterati will be there to cheer on the state winners and to hear who the national winners are which will be announced on the night.
