ACM Parts Chief Executive Officer Mike Kirkman has taken the certified parts message to Taiwan, encouraging manufacturers to invest in NSF International testing.
Kirkman addressed leading manufacturers at the NSF Fifth International Conference, confirming ACM Parts' commitment to selling NSF Certified parts in the Australian market.
"Our message to manufacturers is that rigorously tested certified parts - parts that can match an OE part for fit, form and function - are a huge growth opportunity in the Australian market," Kirkman said.
"ACM Parts is working exclusively with NSF International to certify parts for the Australian market and we believe we are setting a new benchmark.
"We estimate that certified parts make up less than 2% of the market today. As more repairers try these parts and come to understand the quality and consistency we can deliver, that percentage will multiply."
ACM Parts started selling small volumes of NSF International Certified parts, including guards, bumper bar covers, bonnets and grilles, in Australia last November.
“We are seeing strong demand for parts that meet this new quality standard and we will continue to expand our range," Kirkman said.
“ACM Parts is committed to offering repairers and consumers safe, high quality parts that are easy, fast and cost-effective to source."
