CAPS Australia, has expanded its air tool family with the launch of the all new Ingersoll Rand 2145QiMAX Impactool.

CAPS said the tool is designed to deliver best-in-class power and industrial-grade durability where technicians need it most.

“The 2145QiMAX impact wrench offers incredible power for its size,” said Andrew McLean, Product Manager – Air Tools for CAPS Australia. “The latest model boasts a variety of new features designed to improve productivity, as well as Ingersoll Rand’s patented quiet technology, which reduces noise levels without compromising best-in-class power performance.”

The new Impactool features a remarkable power-to-weight ratio: weighing just 3.3 kg, the 2145QiMAX delivers 1350 ft-lb of maximum reverse torque. This is made possible by a new 7-vane air motor that is 16 per cent more efficient than its predecessor, which means less money spent on compressed air. Like other members of the MAX family, the 2145QiMAX features a patented four-position power regulator dial, a feather-touch trigger for greater control, and a patented one-hand forward/reverse mechanism for ease of operation.

The 2145QiMAX impact wrench uses the original, Ingersoll Rand twin hammer mechanism, which provides for increased performance and a longer tool life, and an innovative new steel wear plate that provides extreme wear resistance.

Maintenance is also simplified using a new easy-to-clean inlet pre-screen that captures debris and is easily serviced by tool operators, along with an improved grease fitting for easy maintenance which reduces down time while increasing tool life and performance.

The Ingersoll Rand 2145QiMAX is now available at tool resellers nationwide.
