Bletchley based QCD Automotive has taken to Groupon to offer car scratch and paintwork touch-ups, according to Bodyshop Mag.

We've seen detailing offers on Living Social and Groupon in Australia but not spotted repairs. Has anyone tried it and if so was it successful? Please get in touch and let us know. Given that these offer groups often charge and take a percentage of redeemed coupons it's hard to see how you would make money, although it does market your business to a huge database.

UK shop QCD Automotive is offering car scratch and paintwork touch-up from £19 ($35.85).

The mechanic will repair scuffs and minor dents on a choice of one, two or four panels. The advert says the service takes around 20 minutes for each panel, and customers can also opt for a complimentary drop off and collection service within a three mile radius of the workshop if required.

Customers can choose from the following options:
•    £19 ($35.85) for one panel
•    £34 ($64.15) for two panels
•    £69 ($130.15) for four panels
