US-based Innovative Tools & Technologies has developed the Innovative Material Cart, which was introduced to the market at NACE and SEMA 2010 and will be sold in Australia
by SAPE.
Innovative founder and president, Bryan Johnson, who has also worked as an auto technician for 21 years, said the company has been receiving requests from customers to design a system that could be used by painters, body repairers and detailers to keep supplies and materials at hand, save trips to supply closets, reduce waste and keep techs on the job.
“Our new material cart does all of those things – and more,” Johnson said.
“With its 360-degree open view of all supplies and materials, along with smooth wheel action, the Innovative Material Cart can be rolled to the centre of the work area, making it fast and easy for techs to find the supplies they need as they need them.
“And when materials run low, the cart’s facilitating an easy-to-use bar code inventory system making reorders – and just-in-time inventory – a snap.
“It’s hard to believe that so much efficiency and productivity can be packed into such a space-saving footprint.”
Johnson said that based on the cart’s competitive price and anticipated cost savings, Innovative Material Cart users could expect payback in six months or less, depending on their business volume.
The Innovative Material Cart comes fully outfitted in versions for pre-paint, body repair and detailing.
As with other Innovative systems, Johnson said the cart is ruggedly constructed of the highest-grade materials to stand up to years of hard, daily use.
Specifically for body shops and techs, Johnson said the Innovative Material Cart sets a new standard in enhancing efficiency, inventory and cost controls, and process consistency for quality output time-after-time.
Innovative Tools & Technologies designs and manufactures work and parts management systems for the global automotive repair market, enhancing efficiency, smooth workflow, eliminate clutter, save space, and improve profitability.
More than 125,000 Innovative products are in use throughout North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.
