It's time to put the next generation into the spotlight. The rising star award will recognise up and coming 'youngsters' from our industry. Thankfully there is a great deal of young talent in our industry, not nearly as much as it needs, but it is there and we want to recognise that talent.
Entrants are under the age of 35, and are on the path to becoming leaders and industry innovators. We're looking for positive, energetic people who have contributed to the success of a smash repair shop or chain of shops.
Entrants must make a video around five minutes long telling us why they consider their star is rising. Please outline what your contributions are, what your vision for the future of the industry is and how you see yourself in the future and state your age.
You can submit these videos on memory sticks by mail (Rising Star, Paint & Panel, 17-21 Bellevue Street, Surry Hills, Sydney, NSW, 2010), by dropbox or upload them onto a youtube channel and send us the link to Samstreet@yaffa.com.au. Entries must by submitted by 5pm on 5 August. Our entry form didn't make it easy to identify the rising star so if you have nominated someone who is not on the list below please email samstreet@yaffa.com.au and we'll get in touch with them to submit their video.
