DuPont Performance Coatings (DPC) has launched a new website aimed providing easier access for bodyshop workers.
The move comes as more and more paint and panel shops operators embrace the internet to do business and gain information and knowledge.
DPC marketing services manager, Steven Jakopovic, said it had become clear from talking to customers that the internet was increasingly being used to access information.
“Why wouldn’t it be – it’s available twenty four hours, seven days a week. We therefore clearly see the need to grow our use of internet as an information source to improve the way in which we communicate with our customers,” Jakopovic said.
DPC’s suite of websites includes brand new sites for its three passenger vehicle brands: Standox, Spies Hecker and DuPont Refinish.
The focus has been on increasing the range of online tools and services provided to bodyshop customers, as well as keeping them up-to-date by email about the latest product news and tips on how to get the most out of their paint system.
“Essentially, we’ve made it easier for anyone in the bodyshop – from the paint technician to the owner – to access relevant, up-to-date product information,” Jakopovic said. “And we’re very proud of our new websites – they are comprehensive, easy to navigate and look great.”
Some of the features of the new DPC websites include:
• Product information online
• Downloadable MSDS and TDS
• Online colour formula retrieval and colour matching tools
• Training course information, including online registration
• Ability to subscribe to regular updates about Standox, Spies Hecker or DuPont Refinish
