OPERATING AT NEARLY five metres away from the dust extraction is one of the major benefits of the new portable dust extraction machines released by Uniram.
Top of the line is the UR700 that has two 1350W motors and the extra power pumps 3000 litres/min, allowing for the use of very long hoses. Uniram say the UR700 is ideal for use in tight spaces or when a tall repair has to be made. The UR700 has an auto on/off and when one operator is working only one motor works. The machine does not have a bag and the 47 litre steel bank is tipped out when full. The motor is long wearing due to the dual-filter system and a wet/dry option is also available.
The second machine is the UR40 hat has a 1100w motor and a 40 litre tank and a lower price. Uniram is also offering 6h orbital sanders that the company says are excellent for dustfree bodyshops.
