The key to performance lies within

Tooltechnics in Melbourne has released the new range of Festool mobile dust extractors, Cleantex CT 26 and CT 36.

The compact dimensions and excellent handling of the new Cleantex are just as impressive as the recently developed Selfclean filter bag, a mobile, flexible solution that keeps the air in your workshop free of sanding dust, the company said.

A good dust extraction system has become an indispensable fixture in modern body and paintshops.

The surface of the object must be kept clean and free from dust in order to achieve perfect working results.

The new Cleantex is compact, yet extremely powerful. The high-performance turbine is capable of generating incredible suction power in spite of its low weight and small dimensions.

The extractor is fitted with swiveling steering rollers and rear wheels made from a non-abrasive material.

An integral locking brake keeps the extractor steady on every kind of surface to prevent it from rolling into and damaging paintwork.

The extremely flexible Cleantex has a modular plug-in system (which can be replaced by a qualified electrician) that includes an additional socket, an integral compressed air connection and a connection for the energy box.

The most outstanding feature of the Cleantex is on the inside: the new Selfclean filter bag with self-cleaning effect.

Selfclean has been designed to adapt perfectly to the geometry of the container and is made from a flexible fleece material that folds in on itself when the machine is switched off.

A filter cake consisting of accumulated dust cannot form because of the unique way the dust loosens from the bag.

Filter cakes reduce the suction power considerably and sometimes even cause the filter bag to burst.

One clear advantage of the filter bag over conventional paper filters is that up to four times as many fine dust particles are collected at maximum suction power.
