Continuing growth and strength has seen Northern Territory-based Palmerston Paint Supplies expand into new premises, further enhancing the service it provides to the refinishing industry

Trefor Cunnah and Judy Zelek have spent the last 10 years building up the business to supply quality paint in the retail, trade house paint as well as the automotive and industrial markets.

They established the business in Palmerston, on 5 March 2001 at the old Eleven Mile, now known as Pinelands, and late last year moved to a new 2000 square metre showroom.

Cunnah said suppliers like Haymes Paint, PPG Protective & Marine Coatings, Selleys, Cormack Anest Iwata, Rokset Industries, Crash Supplies, Wagner Spraytech Australia, Saint-Gobain Abrasives, Australian Hardware Agencies, Auto Body Supplies, K & H, Uni-pro Painting Equipment, Spray Chief, and 3M have all supported Palmerston paint supplies over this time.

Some 50 suppliers and more than 250 guests attended the opening of the new showroom, performed by by David Haymes of Haymes Paint Australia.

He was supported by PPG's Queensland/NSW manager Rob Cooke and national industrial manager Graham Gunstan, along with Sydney Automotive Paints and Equipment's Andy Miller, Rick Trembath from Shinano and James Cormack from Anest Iwata.
