NTAR rise for paint and consumables
NRMA Insurance will increase maximum New Times and Rates (NTAR) allowances for paint materials and consumables for 2010-11.
Announcing the increase, NSW Motor Traders’ Association (MTA) CEO James McCall said the increase reflected a rise in paint material and consumable costs and was determined following consultation with the MTA, repairers and paint companies.
The maximum allowance for paint materials has increased by three per cent and the paint consumables allowance by 1.5 per cent.
All NTAR authorised repairers can quote the higher maximum rates from 1 August.
The new maximum rates are:
Category New rate
S1 $17.51
S2 $19.49
M1 $21.13
M2 $24.36
M3 $27.74
Paint Consumables $5.92
