Small bench big features

Car-O-Liner Australia managing director, Julie Thomas, has been impressed with the response to the company’s new Quick 42 bench.

Between the Collision Repair Expo in April and June this year 19 of the new units have been sold. “It is the most ever sales we’ve made at a show,” she told Paint & Panel.

While a bench that’s only 4.2 metres long doesn’t seem big enough for the larger jobs in a typical body shop, the Quick42 is 1.1 m wide (up 1.91 m, with ramps) and features a powerful, full-sized 10 ton draw aligner.

According to Thomas, the Quick 42 is able to handle pretty much the entire scope of work in most body shops — ranging from light cosmetic repairs to heavy structural work.

What makes this bench unique is the quick loading capability and the automatic, one-stage tilting, making it easy to access the damaged areas of a vehicle, as well as the measuring and anchoring points. The bench will lift vehicles up to 3000 kg.

This bench’s speed and versatility allows the user to take advantage of faster turn-around, with minimal downtime.

Another feature of this bench is the fully-integrated power supply. This means hydraulics and air are available from a central location, with quick coupling capability for easy fitting. The lightweight alloy ramps cover the full length of the bench.

These can be adapted for both wide and narrow vehicles. Quick42 is compatible with EVO, Vision and other Car-O-Liner measuring systems.
