A NEW GENERATION, cost effective, long lasting, rain repellent spray for windscreens has been released by Trico Products.
Known as Trico EnduroShield, the product was developed by advanced Australian research laboratories, and uses state-of-the-art nano technology.
It comes in a small spraypack and is applied through gentle rubbing with a clean cloth. This leaves an ultra thin transparent film of EnduroShield which completely adheres to the glass windscreen.
The rain water is beaded by a formula created by a Hydrophobic (water repelling) and Oleophobic (oil repelling) formula. Beading, rather than sheeting is formed, providing enhanced safety when driving in wet conditions. The treatment also greatly reduces vision distortion.
The new Trico formula is also very long lasting unlike silicone based coatings on the market which require regular re-application. The Trico formula will last for up to 12 months.
The new formula is UV stable and makes the windscreen easier to clean, especially when covered in bugs and insects. A $25 50mL bottle will treat up to three car windscreens or one large commercial windscreen.
