The second of five finalists in the Women in Smash awards will be chosen next week, so if you haven't nominated that brilliant woman from you business yet, then hurry up.
Congratulations to our first 2015 finalist Donna Robson from The River Group in Queensland. "Donna oversees business administration and staff across five sites," said her boss Russ Hill. "She will pitch in to any role necessary from PA to CEO. She cooks the snags at the workshop BBQs and specialises in trauma therapy for hard done by staff."
Hill also said: "If we could bottle her passion, energy and care factor and sell it, we'd all be rich." You can read more about Robson in the latest issue of Paint & Panel magazine which should land any day now.
Although we will be accepting nominations until September, the second finalist will be selected next week and you have to be in it to win it.
Nominating takes less than five minutes, you just need to fill out the details of the woman you are nominating and give a short description of her role. We will then send nominees a link to a short survey to find out a bit more about what they do in the business and help the judges - last year's Women in Smash finalists - select this year's finalists.
There are five finalists in this NRMA-sponsored award program. Each one is featured in the magazine and will be flown to a special venue to meet each other over lunch. An overall winner is selected from the five finalists.
