Australian Accident Management Commercial (AAMC) say it is thrilled to be the first company in Australia to embrace the new Cert IV in Vehicle Loss Assessing.

"We acknowledge the extensive consultation and preparation by Auto Skills Australia in bringing together this training package which recognises the unique technical and automotive expertise expected in the vehicle loss assessing profession," said Diane Mason, People and Services Manager, AAMC.

"AAMC quickly determined the importance of this new certification to the automotive and insurance industry and from the outset it had been our intent to ensure that insurance clients, and other customers represented by repairers, vehicle drivers, salvage operators and government departments and associations would continue to receive service from the most technically qualified and professional Vehicle Loss Assessors possible," she said.

After entering into a co-provider agreement with the MTA Institute of Technology in Queensland, undertaking the necessary reviews and audits and the collation of all operational and individual evidence, the assessments were completed. AAMC received the accreditation for 68 vehicle loss assessors located in QLD, NSW, VIC and WA at the end of April, who were each presented with their certificate and congratulated on their achievement.
