Congratualtions to  Marrickville Prestige Smash Repairs (MPSR), Sydney, for scooping up I-CAR Gold Class Collision status.

General Manager Johnny Karavasilias says that MPSR has developed a culture of investment in its people and train employees in the latest technology and advancements. The staff at Marrickville Prestige have all undertaken various role-specific I-CAR courses and the Steel GMA (MIG) Welding Qualification Test program within the last 12 months, while the business itself has undergone a significant upgrade.

The Gold Class status is the highest level of accreditation within the I-CAR Professional Development program, recognising commitment to ongoing training and education within the business.

“For a repair facility to be eligible for the I-CAR Gold Class Professional, it must disclose all employees and accurately define job roles of Estimator, Non-Structural Technician, Structural Technician and Refinish Technician,”said I-Car's Richard Pratt.

“Each technician in each of these roles must have achieved I-CAR Platinum Individual recognition. The other employees within the shop must have completed a minimum training requirement.

“The commitment by Karavasilias, one of the younger business operators, clearly shows in the enthusiasm of his staff and his customers. This commitment has not only resulted in the Gold Class status, but has greatly improved knowledge, quality and productivity throughout the entire business,” said Pratt.
