Hella Australia has risen above its global aftermarket sales company peers to be presented with the top aftermarket sales company award of the entire global Hella Group.
This is the third time that Hella Australia has been officially recognised as the most outstanding independent aftermarket sales company of the global Hella Group.
The Australian aftermarket sales company was presented with this prestigious global award at Hella KGaA's global head office in Lippstadt Germany in late 2009.
This award is a glowing testament to the commitment of the Hella Australian independent aftermarket team to rise above the economic downturn by providing unprecedented levels of customer service, an innovative aftermarket product range and premium quality.
Hella Australia won this highly sought after award ahead of second and third placed Hella Belgium and Hella Hungary and more than twenty competing Hella aftermarket sales companies worldwide. The winner was determined by a points based system relating to several different facets of the aftermarket business of each country's sales company.
Senior Hella executives appraised the areas of sales performance and growth and fill rates, along with the marketing activities and impact such marketing activities had on increasing sales within each company.
According to Hella Australia director - independent aftermarket, Terry Fitzgerald: "This award reflects the great work we have done with lighting, air conditioning and engine cooling products. Our commitment to introducing
premium quality new andinnovative products to our aftermarket range has been very successful and this policy will continue. I am also very proud that Hella Australia's leadership in logistics and customer service has positioned us as world leaders. Despite the economic climate during this period, Hella Australia continued to develop its aftermarket product range and provide its customers with unrivalled product quality that not only maintained our aftermarket sales levels, but increased them against various cheaper and clearly inferior products."
"When you consider that our company has some incredible aftermarket sales operations all over the world, for Hella Australia to take the top award for the third time is truly remarkable and a testament to the talent that exists within our entire aftermarket team," Fitzgerald said.
Hella Australia continues to develop the company's aftermarket product range to suit the Australian car parc and looks forward to continued growth in 2010 and beyond. The company employs 360 people across one manufacturing facility and five state sales branches nationally. Hella Australia's aftermarket portfolio includes the entire Mann Filter aftermarket range, Hella Marine product range and Behr Hella Service for engine cooling and
heat management products.
