Over recent years a few companies have sprung up, claiming to be equal to Lowbake.

But as Lowbake advances, the old designs and technology imitated by these competitors is leaving them behind, Lowbake says.

It is investing heavily in research, development and state-of-the-art manufacturing.

So what are the main areas of improvement that Lowbake is currently offering?

Recirculated heated air DURING BAKE CYCLE

This has been a huge leap forward for water-based paints as well as reducing energy used in the paint shop. Lowbake's unique system uses air-operated dampers to recirculate hot air used during the bake cycle for maximum efficiency.

The system uses a high cabin speed to assist in rapid metal temperature rise which reduces bake cycle times by over 30 per cent, a tremendous increase in cycle time which gives an extra one or two bake jobs per day. The other advantages are lower electricity and gas use, which also increases the bottom line.

Improved High efficiency LIGHTING

The Lowbake booth offers even colour corrected lighting in all of our booths. It is designed to provide even, shadow-free lighting to OEM car manufacturers’ specification for paint inspection. The lighting is rear access and all fittings plug in for ease of maintenance without specialised personnel, which also helps with running costs. The use of high-efficiency lighting with the correct amount of lux is also critical to minimise waste due to over-supply of tubes.

Improved Paint over Spray Collection System

All Lowbake booths use the Polyester paint pocket filter system, which is the best available technology to capture over- spray and dust and protect the environment and your spray booth. Common in the industry is the use of fibreglass filters which are a hazard in the work place due to the fibreglass fibres.

The fibreglass filters are a very loose weave filter and are not as efficient as the polyester paint pocket filter as the dust passes straight through the fibreglass weave. This dust can build up on exhaust fans and motors and if not cleaned can be a fire hazard as it is highly combustible.

Super-Efficient Airflow and Fans

Lowbake was the pioneer of variable speed fans in spray booths. The use of this technology has cut maintenance and saves energy, which has allowed the users of this technology to save thousands of dollars on operating costs. The fans provide even balanced air flow, which meets all regulations as well as providing optimum painting conditions.

Water-BaseD Paint Curing Equipment

Lowbake has over the last few years developed in conjunction with several international paint companies a cost-effective solution for water-based paint curing that not only works but is low cost and reliable. The Lowbake WBC system can be fitted into a new or existing booth easily and has many advantages compared to corner- mounted dust blowers or overhead roof -mounted fans.

Technical Assistanceand Shop Design

Lowbake leads the industry with product training and technical assistance. Lowbake is the only company to maintain a 24-hour service hotline and all spray booths come with an extensive operating and service manual with full details including mechanical and electrical drawings to ensure you have the correct information for proper and safe use and maintenance of your equipment. At design stages, Lowbake boasts full 2D and 3D CAD facilities.

State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility

Lowbake has a modern, well-equipped workshop with around 30 full-time staff. Most of its equipment is made in-house with high tech CNC machinery to ensure a high quality and specification product built in minimum time.

Future technologies

Lowbake is leading the way in development and implementation of the new infra red gas equipment that is the future of fast paint curing, not only in Australia but the world.
