Good WH&S should be the cornerstone of any collision repair business. The inuagural winner of this award in 2021 was Tammy O'Donnell and the team at Northshore BMW Bodyshop, Sydney. Now O'Donnell did have a more than a slight advantage of having spending her entire career in the world of WH&S before she shared her knowledge and passion with the team at Northshore. We don't expect that every business is lucky enough to have a 'Tammy' but demonstrating a passion for keeping your team safe and creating a safe work culture could earn your business the 'crown' this year.

Entry is via the awards portal. Either the nominated business or the nominator must give detailed reasons why they should win this award. To guide you with your submission here are the criteria and weightings.
Demonstrate a robust health and safety system from equipment maintenance to first aid training, air purity testing, fume extraction etc. Collection of evidence in case of a physical or non-physical incident.
60% of overall score
Demonstrate how you have a created a safety culture in your business, eg training, tool box meetings etc
40% of overall score
Finalists will be selected and a winner will be selected by an expert panel of judges. The winner will be announced at a glittering awards gala dinner in Melbourne on 11 November.
The finalists will be announced online and in the September issue of the magazine, the winner will be profiled in the November issue of the magazine. As well as a trophy winners will also receive a winner's logo to use in their marketing.
