Risk Management Essentials (RME) has been appointed national audit partner for Hyundai’s new OEC Certified National Approved Repairer Program.

The appointment will see RME work with OEC and participating repairers to help ensure the quality of the repairer network and support safe, compliant and high-quality collision repairs across Australia.

Hyundai Motor Company Australia’s Wayne Pickering announced the commencement of the National Approved Repairer Program, administered by OEC,  at the inaugural National Car Craft Conference, held in Hobart from August 27-29.

OEC’s Damian Cahill also presented an aligned Total Loss Avoidance program, which is designed to support the use of genuine parts while helping keep more damaged vehicles economically repairable rather than being declared total losses.

RME CEO Dianne Rawlings said the company was proud to have been selected as the national audit partner.

RME will work with OEC as the program is rolled out nationally, including visiting participating bodyshops around Australia.

The appointment places RME in an important role overseeing standards across the repairer network, with its auditing activities supporting the program’s focus on repair quality, safety and compliance.
