Queensland automotive businesses and industry professionals have just weeks remaining to nominate for the 2026 MTA Queensland Industry Awards, with entries closing on July 31.
Hosted by the Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland), the annual awards recognise excellence in leadership, innovation, customer service and workforce development across the state's automotive industry.
MTA Queensland CEO Rod Camm said the awards celebrated the businesses and individuals raising standards across the sector.
"Every day, automotive businesses across Queensland are delivering exceptional service, investing in their people, embracing new technologies and making a genuine difference within their local communities," Camm said.
The awards cover six categories: Small Business Award for Excellence, Large Business Award for Excellence, Women in Industry Award, Community Award, Innovation Award and Apprentice of the Year Award.
Finalists will be recognised at the 2026 MTA Queensland Industry Awards Gala at The Star Brisbane on November 28. Each finalist will receive two complimentary tickets to the black-tie event, which includes a three-course dinner, premium beverages and live entertainment.
Camm encouraged the industry to nominate deserving businesses and individuals before the deadline, saying the awards were an opportunity to showcase the passion, professionalism and innovation driving Queensland's automotive sector.
Further information and nominations are available through MTA Queensland before entries close on July 31.
