Worked for SSS Auto parts, in fact was instrumental in getting a insurance company to buy OE Genuine Panels from them, though the VIC insurance assessors and approving the purchase to the panel shops. Which was the first time in the company history whereby the monthly sales exceeded over 1.2 million dollars.
Before that it was always hovering around the 600K to 700K mark always, no matter how many people were selling, ( Never ever got over 1 million dollars in sales for 1 month), Also told them either they will call SSS or they won't call its as simple as that, but I did do a presentation to all the insurance companies assessors to explain to them what we have to offer and I told the management after the meeting, that they better be ready just in case. Also invited the main management from the insurance company to come out to see the OEM Genuine parts, which they did view and were happy with the presentation of the parts from all 3 main manufactures Holden, Ford, Toyota etc.
After the weekend every single assessor from Victoria rang and wanted to buy genuine OEM Panels and Parts from SSS, they were not prepared even though I told them to be ready just in case.
Yet the wages for the workers were below the average for that type of work. Even after I proved that I got the insurance company to buy from them, still did not get a pay rise and the same with other workers.
Left very very unhappy and disillusioned with management, my budget was 30K for the month, when you consider that the insurance company brought over 400K in 1 month of sales just from my presentation, thats well over a years worth of work done in less than a month, still got nothing, so I left cheers 🙌✌🦘👍

This is still happening, unfortunately. I'm in NSW and was given a four-week turnaround for an assessor as I opted to choose my own repairer – not only because they specialise in my make of vehicle, but because the GIO-approved repairers universally came up with shockingly bad, and plausible sounding reviews online. If I'd gone with one of their 'dodgy brothers' repairers I could have had it in at the shop the next day.
