Sullair Australia, has introduced a new Champion-branded CSD compressor range.
Sullair says the CSD line-up offers a class-leading combination of efficiency, output, and quiet operation. The efficient new CSE50 model extends the CSE range to deliver a cost-effective 55kW compressed air solution that is ideal for reliable operation across a broad spectrum of industrial applications.
According to Sullair Australia National Product Manager – Stationary Air Power, Simon Wood, the gear-driven CSD compressors are currently available in two sizes. The smaller 55kW unit, the CSD55, has an output pressure choice of 7.5 or 10.0bar, and is rated for a maximum free air delivery of 163 l/s. Its big brother, the 75kW CSD75, similarly has a choice of output pressures and can deliver a maximum of 210 l/s.
Also quiet, efficient and powerful, the new CSE50—rated at 55kW—provides a belt-driven alternative, and extends the CSE line-up from 15 to 55kW. It has an output pressure of either 7.5 or 10 bar, and is rated for a maximum of 141 l/s free air delivery
“The new CSE50 is offered at an economical price point that will be very attractive to customers. Existing users of smaller CSE units will further benefit from the commonality of components and spares of the CSE compressor range,” said Wood.
All three compressors have IP55-rated motors, which are fully MEPS2 compliant and feature a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) design for low temperature rise. IP54-rated electrical cabinets are standard, along with ‘deluxe control’ to provide multiple compressor sequencing, scheduled on/off switching, and remote monitoring.
Both the CSD and CSE compressor ranges are designed and manufactured in Australia for 100 per cent duty in harsh conditions. They can be run for extended periods in 50 degree C ambient temperatures, and can operate equally well in dry, dusty and humid conditions.
