I-CAR Australia Gold Class coordinator Gary Wood has announced that Sommerville Smash Repairs in Nerang, Queensland has been awarded the prestigious I-CAR Gold Class Collision status.
“Chris Agnew first approached us just over 12 months ago with an interest in becoming Gold Class accredited. Following the training plan created for them, they have been regular participants in virtual training sessions and have been a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to continuing the relationship with Chris and the team at Sommerville Smash” said Wood.
“On behalf of the Sommerville Smash Repairs team, we are mighty proud of our latest achievement of I-CAR Gold status, we thank all the I-CAR team for their assistance throughout the journey, and a special thanks to Axalta Coatings," said Agnew.
"We here at Sommerville Smash are certainly reaping the rewards of the training thus far, as this knowledge is fluent throughout our shop and shared constantly between all staff members. We have found that the deeper our staff move into training the more engaged they have become as they all enjoy sharing knowledge and their achievements. Our journey has been made more achievable by the many training modules on offer, virtual training has been a godsend, not to mention the diverse level of courses on offer to all departments of our trade.
