An eight year old boy has used driving skills he learned on YouTube to drive his father's car to the local McDonald's.

The young boy from Ohio was reported to police after several witnesses called in.

Reports indicated that the boy followed traffic laws, stopping properly at red lights and waited for pedestrians to cross before turning into the McDonald’s parking lot.

Local patrolman Jacob Koehler explained the child then drove through the drive-thru, attempting to pay with his 'piggie bank'.

“The workers thought that the parents were in the back, but obviously they weren’t,” said Koehler.

After Koehler attended the scene he discovered the eight year old has brought his four year sister along for the ride.

The children's parents were said to have fallen asleep, with the child managing to reach his father's keys by "standing on his tip toes."

Koehler said that he was impressed by the boy's driving skill as he expected to receive more calls regarding property damage.

The children were picked up by their parents at the station and no charges were filed.
