The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) has recently announced the 2021 Collision Repair Expo, scheduled to take place in Melbourne in April, will be postponed to 7 to 9 April, 2022. For the SAPE Group, however, there is a silver lining.

“Opportunity is one of the main themes for each and every Collision Repair Expo,” says SAPE Group Director Paul McMartin.

“There’s no other event that gives you the opportunity to talk face-to-face with some of the industries' leading minds, whilst also introducing new products and obtaining immediate feedback - the SAPE Group looks forward to exhibiting at each and every Expo,

“The news of the postponement will be disappointing to many, however there is opportunity for the industry to come together and keep things moving during this time.”McMartin says.

To help facilitate those connections, the SAPE Group has developed a COVID safe solution that sees a combination of one-on-one appointments, social distancing and other hygiene measure to ensure they continue to meet the needs of customers interested in upgrading their body shop.

“The SAPE Group is COVID ready,” McMartin says.

“We have started COVID safe consultations in our expansive showrooms which display some amazing pieces of equipment from brands such as GYS, Celette, Spanesi, IRT, Jollift, Scangrip, CarSystem, ProwoTech, Carbon, CAM and many more,”

“We’ve essentially replicated the touch-and-feel experience of a Trade Show, but in a COVID-safe manner,”

“We encourage everyone looking to upgrade equipment to lock in an appointment, even if it’s just to say hello” McMartin says.
