A new repairer-beneficial insurance product is set to be launched shortly. The idea is set to especially benefit those repairers who are not part of an insurance company repair network.
The new insurance product will be launched next month when further details will be available. The concept is to form a co-operative of repairers who buy into the program. The insurance product can be suggested to customers who might be unsatisfied with their current insurance provider. The customer can then get their car repaired at any co-operative member.
The product has its own times guide and code of conduct and is underwritten by a major industry player and has, reportedly, attracted involvement from some significant industry entities. The co-operative founders are also forming relationships with dealerships as the new products will guarantee the use of OEM parts on vehicles which are still under manufacturer warranty.
