Make sure your get your ticket to join us for the Sydney shop tour on 12 March. Visiting other people's businesses and seeing the environment they work in and how they work it is one of the most valuable activities you can undertake to improve your own shop. We're also having our Next Generation seminar the next day in Sydney, so if you are coming from interstate then why not make a long weekend of it?

The tour is sponsored by Sydney Automotive Paint & Equipment and we'll be having lunch at its HQ and checking out the equipment showroom and training facilities.

We'll be visiting three very different businesses. Marrickville Presitge is owned and run by young Johnny Karvasilias. He has worked tirelessly to improve and expand what was a boutique shop and is a great example of a productive inner city business. He won national best boutique shop back in 2016 in the Paint & Panel Bodyshop Awards but has made further improvements since then. Here's a quick video of the shop made when we were judging for the awards.

Lexus of Chatswood (body and paint) is an enormous, efficient dealer shop over a number of levels which has a large collection of OEM badges. The 'supercar'/Maserati floors are stunning, with extremely high levels of equipment. Expertly run, it has a large team which sees to the needs of its prestige car-owning clients and their high specification vehicles. It has aluminium and carbon fibre repair booths.

Gemini Chatswood specialises in heavy repairs. The team here are focused on fine tuning every process for maximum efficiency an productivity. You'll gain  an insight into the 'Green machine' and how the site operates. The shop was finished less than a year ago.

Places are strictly limited so its first in best dressed!
