The Motorserve business is focussing on growth over the next two years with  opportunities available as it opens new sites and new positions into the business.

Formerly owned by NRMA Motoring & Services, Motorserve was acquired by IAG in February of this year. Under the new ownership Motoserve has expanded its service offering – previously a car servicing business in NRMA’s hands. It now offers insurance triage services from some of their locations.

Since the beginning of the year the business has opened six new Motorserve stores across NSW, VIC and QLD, plus it now provides insurance services at seven of the existing Motorserve stores.

Recently the business has introduced a new position called a Motorserve Repair Advisor. Repair Advisors are responsible for the customer engagement during the insurance triage process, including the marking up of damage on the vehicle. The role suits people with experience either in a collision repair or car servicing business, that may want to either move off the tools or broaden their career.

As part of the insurance triage process, Motorserve can refer vehicles to an IAG assessor on a case by case scenario.

Andrew Boath, Motorserve CEO, says “We are constantly looking at ways we can provide relevant motoring services and products to the consumer. Our goal is to become a one-stop-shop for all of our customer’s motoring needs in the future. We are also expanding our network and aim to have nearly 50 stores nationally within the next couple of years.”
