Hyundai's Next Generation i30 has been unveiled with a host of enhanced connectivity and safety features.

The model features 53% advanced high strength steel to deliver solid ride and handling characteristics as well as 10% more direct steering and a newly developed chassis.

Safety features include autonomous emergency braking, smart cruise control, lane keeping assist system, driver attention alert and blind spot detection.

The Next Generation i30 has also boosted connectivity with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and wireless charging for smartphones.

Hyundai Motor Europe VP marketing Jochen Sengpiehl said that the model has been built to reflect consumer demand.

“We have listened closely to customer needs, redefining our offer to create a car for everyone.

“The Next Generation i30 is our DNA car in Europe: accessible, appealing in design with innovative technology and great to drive.

“With up-to-date infotainment and connectivity features we offer everything that digital natives and today’s customers expect.”

The Hyundai Next Generation i30 will be launch into the market in early 2017.
