With over 1.6 million Holden’s still on our road today, the company is aiming to keep as many running safely and for as long as possible, with the help of its expanding network of Certified Collision Repairers.

GM Holden has just announced an expansion of its Certified Repairer Network to include all past and present HSV vehicles along with GM vehicles such as the Chevrolet Silverado and Camaro that is currently being sold by HSV.

Like Holden; in the unfortunate event of an accident HSV want their customers vehicles to be repaired to the highest standard using the ‘GM Safe, Proper Repair’ methodology.

Safe, Proper Repairs means the following every time a GM vehicle is repaired.

  • Have trained People and a culture of continuous training;

  • Using only new Holden and GM Genuine Parts;

  • Use of GM Holden Repair Procedures;

  • Adherence to GM Holden Position Statements;

  • Use of the correct equipment.

Training is paramount to the GM Safe, Proper Repair Methodology. Holden’s Certified Collision Repair Network currently has the highest concentration of I-CAR Gold Class shops in Australia.

Due to the prestigious nature of HSV vehicles, only repair shops that have gained the I-CAR Gold Class standard are eligible to receive the certification to repair these vehicles.

Paul Rietveld, GM Holden Director of Aftersales said “We are delighted to announce the expansion of our Holden Certified Collision Repair Network with the inclusion of all vehicles sold directly by HSV and HSV Dealerships.

"Holden Accident Care and our Certified Collision Repair Network are vital programs that show our existing customers that we are still at their service both now and into the future.

"We extend our congratulations to all the Holden Certified Collision Repair facilities that already meet the requirement of being an I-CAR Gold Class facility.

It is comforting to know that Holden and HSV customers’ vehicles are in very safe hands.”
