From shop owners to technicians in the workshop and every conceivable role in between, there are women who are the backbone of successful autobody businesses across the country. There's also a category for women who work at industry suppliers too. The Women in Collision Awards and seminar has been developed and supported, from its inception, in partnership with IAG. Ian Tulloch, Executive Manager, Supply Chain said: "This great initiative has proven over the years that Women in Collision to be much more than rewarding day to day performance in our industry.
"It shines a light on the quiet achievers, whose passion, team work and commitment to going above and beyond shows little things can make a huge difference. Most of all, it is an opportunity to meet other industry colleagues, share stories and expertise and build lifetime connections, which is a core of the IAG business,"
Nominate a talented, determined, successful woman who makes a positive impact on your autobody repair facility for the 2018 Women in Collision awards.
There will be eight winners, two in each category:
- Female technician/estimator
- Admin/customer service/parts managers
- Owner/manager
- Industry supplier representative
The finalists are selected by the previous year’s winners. Entrants can be nominated by their colleagues or nominate themselves. When you nominate and then you will receive an email with a link to a Survey Monkey form where the nominee or nominator tells us all about the women’s role in the business and why she deserves to win.
The awards are presented during a half day seminar which this year talkes place in Queensland in November. Winners will be flown (where applicable) to the seminar to accept their awards.
