Ok that's it - I'm setting out and locking myself in your spraybooth and refusing to come out until you've filled out our survey. The annoying website pop up isn't working, so desperate times...
So far the early results of the survey have been the most read stories on our website but less than 200 shops have taken part. The results of the survey highlight some serious industry issues such as the majority of repairers have no exit plan for their business, the reasons that shop owners don't employ apprentices and what worries you the most (it's unsustainable profit margin by the way). We'll relay your major issues with insurers and insurers will be reading the results. There are a host of results that you'll want to know about how other owners and managers are travelling with their business.
However in order for these results to be credible we need at least one hundred more owners and managers taking 10 minutes of their time to complete the anonymous survey, so please make the time and take part. We'll be publishing the results in the next issue of the magazine which is in production now, so please take action this week.
