After seven years since starting Plastfix and driving the company in the plastic repairs sector of the automotive collision industry, Mario Dimovski has stepped down as CEO from the business.

Plastfix, an exclusive provider of plastic repair services to Capital SMART and AMA in Australia and New Zealand leading MSO’s, is set to progressively grow as the industry comes out of Covid with focus on sustainability of plastic waste. The growth is expected to continue under the current leadership team, including former 3M director Gordon McRonald and industry advocate Greg Preston. The mangaement is supported by senior managers such as Paul Siacola, John Morrissey and Kane Everleigh who have helped shape the business and maintain its standard since inception.

“I would like to thank the extended Plastfix family for their loyalty and dedication," Mario Dimovski said. "A special thanks to our customers, SMART and AMA for the ongoing support and I look forward to watching the new and exciting developments they have planned.

"I must also thank the local collision industry, who have been the inspiration behind my drive and thrive to advance sustainability and plastic repairs in the collision repair market."

Dimovski says he intends to take time off to spend with the family as they relocate to the USA and prepare for "my new and exciting journey later in the year."

"Meanwhile, I will be helping commercialise Wellm8, working with IBIS as their Global Ambassador to help raise awareness on becoming more open to dealing with mental health and well-being."
