WorldSkills Australia is calling for national competition Judges for the 2016 WorldSkills Australia National Competition, Melbourne. The National Competition will be held from Thursday, 6 to Saturday, 8 October 2016 at the Melbourne Showgrounds.

National judges are a major and vital part of the national competition working group who will maintain a close and effective relationship with their chief and deputy chief judges and WorldSkills Australia national operations manager.

All successful applicants will be need to attend the National Competition from Monday, 3 to Tuesday, 11 October 2016. These dates are dependent on individual skill requirements. In addition to attending the National Competition, judging personnel will also be required to assist WorldSkills Australia with the planning and preparation of the competition.

Essential Criteria

Be an active participant in the 2015 WorldSkills Australia Regional Competitions as either a judge or convenor or be endorsed by industry
Have current trade/industry involvement
Have knowledge of national industry standards, national industry requirements and training packages
Have high level communication skills
Have the ability to work extended hours at high performance levels
Have the complete support of your employer prior to applying for the role
