MTA NSW has again had to make another senior appointment after the resignation of president Maurie Pinfold on 22 November.
This follows on from the decision to terminate former CEO Greg Patten earlier this year.
Vice president David Keats of Sindaco Air Brake Co Pty Ltd, has been promoted to the role of president.
Chief executive officer Stavros Yallouridis, appointed in October 2016, took the opportunity to thank Pinfold for his eight years with the association and welcomed Keats to the new position.
“I look forward to working with David and I’m sure that [he] would enjoy meeting some of our metropolitan and regional members during the 2017 MTA ‘Success Through Knowledge’ Information evenings.”
Yallouridis reaffirmed his dedication to building a stronger association, citing his recent efforts to understand each departments challenges, goals and ideas.
“It has been a very busy time with activities planned at re-evaluating the Operations of the Association and the Policies and Procedures currently in place.”
