MTA Queensland is  running another event targeting the future of the auto repair industry, Carmageddon.

This is the second Carmageddon event for 2017, this time with the theme 'leading the way'.

Presenters from Telstra, the Queensland Government, Commonwealth Bank and Queensland University of Technology will all be discussing ideas for businesses to adopt in regards to safeguarding for the future.

Topics will include:

  • Queensland's digital economy and global trends
  • 360 degree videos, VR and AR for business application
  • Changing business models and working smarter
  • Electric/hybrid vehicles and charging
  • Autonomous vehicles and their impact
  • Data management and privacy
  • Start-up opportunities resulting from industry innovation hubs
  • Legal implications of the digital revolution

The afternoon section of the program will feature interactive demonstrations from a range of exhibitors who have developed innovative business products and services.
