Car Craft’s ranks continue to swell. The network now boasts 123 sites and, with addition of a new member in Tasmania, is represented in every state and territory.

Car Craft Group CEO, Peter McMahon, recently announced that the Car Craft Group now includes Finns Bodyworks, Launceston, Tasmania.

McMahon said: “It’s fantastic to now be truly a national network of repairers, which is a great credit to those who started the company over 35 years ago, to the quality, standards and ethics of our current Car Craft owners and the vision of our board.”

Gene Finn, who is the second generation in the business established in 1978, commented on joining the group: ”I had been looking at ways to enhance the business and still maintain our valves and service to the local community. The Car Craft Group presented a synergy with our values and a great link to business on the mainland. From the first meeting we had with the group, the openness and the genuine exchange of information was refreshing. I’m excited to be the first member of Car Craft Group in Tasmania and I’m looking forward to being part of the group’s positive plans for the future.”

Darren Smith of Carlingford Prestige Smash Repairs in Sydney is also a new addition to the Car Craft network. He cited a number of reasons which contributed to his decision to join the group. “Firstly I think there is strength in numbers. A national group of like-minded, high quality shops is sure to attract manufacturer accreditations and insurance work in time. Plus, being part of buying group helps in maximising profit margins. The networking opportunities will be invaluable, it is a chance to grow and learn and develop my business even further. As part of a buying group I can maximise my profit margins and I’m interested in exploring Car Craft Group’s Octoral refinishing offering.

Matt and Tracey Dwyer of Minarellli Smash Repairs, Lismore have joined Car Craft Group for the opportunities and support they provide to independent repairers.

Tracey said that the that the focus on ethical practices, integrity, growth, and improvement aligns with Minarelli Smash Repairs’ business values. “We feel the Car Craft Group can assist us in ensuring we continually move forward and progress through access to networking, information, experience, and training opportunities with knowledgeable and like-minded individuals within the group. For these reasons we feel the Car Craft Group membership will be an enormous asset to our business.
