The Car Craft Group continues to expand, with new businesses getting on board in both Queensland and the southern region of NSW, despite all the issues facing the industry across Australia.

Specialty Paint Repairs at Orange have joined, and Neil and Beth Towers said that they saw the Car Craft Group as an opportunity to grow their business in a regional area and are looking forward to networking with like-minded people across the group

Northside Panel and Paint in Canberra has also joined after recently attending a meeting with the Car Craft NSW Southern Region Board. Owner Lucy Warrener said she just "felt at home". Car Craft says it feels that to have someone with Warrener's business acumen will be a great asset to the group.

Jindabyne Crash Repairs has been taken over by current member Nikki Tonini from Cooma Crash who says it just made sense to him to add his second shop to Car Craft.

Two more shops join Car Craft in Queensland, both in the northern region of the state - David Taylor Spraypainting in Townsville and Tiger Smash Repairs in Hervey Bay.

David Taylor Spraypainting is a well-known business in the area and is headed up by Clinton Taylor, a second generation owner. Clinton did his homework for some time before committing to joining the group. "Car Craft will offer us a platform to stay at the leading edge of the industry so that we can improve our business and better serve our customers in our region," he said.

Tiger Smash, while being relatively new business is innovate and growing and is located in the heart of the Hervey Bay business precinct. Jason Willis the proprietor has been in the trade for over 25 years and was looking for something to assist him in getting to that next level: "Our values and vision aligns with those of Car Craft to deliver a high quality repair and customer service."

These businesses give greater coverage for the two regions from Jindabyne in the south through to Cairns in the north. "Despite the challenging times, these latest additions to the network demonstrate that there are still many businesses looking to improve and grow. The Car Craft Group offers them a network of independent family owned businesses with the same values," said Ben Chesterfield, Queensland state manager.
