Capricorn Group CEO Greg Wall has announced that he will step down from his role.
In a statement to members, Wall revealed he would be retiring and departing from the role, effective June 2019.
"After careful consideration and deliberation with the Capricorn Board and my family, I have decided to retire as Group CEO of Capricorn.
"This retirement will be effective from June 2019, just over 12 months from now, to provide the Board with plenty of time to appoint a new Group CEO and enable a transition period to ensure a smooth and successful hand over.
"I am pleased to have such a strong Executive Leadership Team to assist with this transition.
"It was not an easy decision. Capricorn is in great shape and has such an exciting future ahead. It is and will continue to be a great organisation and I have loved every minute of making it “just easier” for you to run and grow your business.
"I am so proud of what we have achieved together over the nearly seven years since I joined.
"I will continue in my role at Capricorn until June 2019, but am sharing this news now because I wanted to be completely transparent in my decision as has always been my approach."
Wall stated he would work with the board to plan and deliver the best possible outcome, as Capricorn continues to grow and evolve.
