BETAG Innovation and the International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) have agreed a three-year global partnership focused on driving up knowledge and standards across the collision repair community.

BETAG was founded in 2001 with the core intention of making the modern bodyshop technician’s work more efficient. Besides striving for efficiency in today’s bodyshops, BETAG also collaborate with auto manufacturers, insurance companies and bodyshop associations.

BETAG products are produced and developed in a specialist R&D facility in Prague and distributed from its headquarters in Wollerau, Switzerland via an international dealer network.

Ralph Meichtry and Dave Flockhart from BETAG Innovation commented ‘we are excited about partnering with IBIS. At a time of significant change in the collision repair industry, IBIS USA will kick start our partnership and offer global insights to help North American repairers optimise their local market position’.

They added ‘vehicle technology and production materials have evolved massively in recent years and it has never been more important for collision repairers to focus on developing the knowledge, skills and performance of their teams to stay ahead. We’re looking forward to partnering with IBIS to highlight this’.

Jason Moseley, CEO, IBIS said ‘It has been fantastic to agree this important collaboration with BETAG. Their approach to challenging the status quo of body repair with innovative solutions and world class training aligns perfectly with the vision of IBIS. Raising safety, standards and skills underpins our business ethos and that can only happen when businesses like BETAG bring improved quality, efficiency and profitability to collision repairers.’
